Article 11

Well, as they say, "The best-laid schemes o' mice an' men / Gang aft agley." and so it has with me.
I talked to brother's SO and it appears that I will have to cancel the trip to visit him in Alaska until next year due to impossible circumstances.
I half-expected it, but still am very disappointed.
At least I got back all my money I've spent!
What a crappy night I've had so far...
